How to Fill out a Goodwill Donation Receipt

In accordance with IRS Publication 1771, 501(c)(3) charities cannot enter the value of donated goods on a receipt.
When completing a Goodwill donation receipt, the donor should provide the estimated value of contributed goods next to a description of the donations.
