A moving quote is a transparent, itemized list of moving costs presented to a potential client. It will contain the following:

• Company Contact – The company name, the name of the contact person, and the number where they can be reached.e
• Moving Details – The pickup and drop off date and time, the number of crew needed, the type of move.
• Service Description – A breakdown of costs including the rate for the movers, fuel, truck rental, transportation to the pickup location.
• Special Costs – Any additional fees for services such as packing, piano moving, furniture disassembly, and the like.
• Payment Terms – Any deposits required to secure services, how long the quote is valid for, cancellation fees, etc.
• Client Signature – The date and the signature of the client to indicate that they agree to the presented quote.
