When to Use a Moving Estimate

Although an estimate isn’t often necessary for moving jobs, it may be beneficial or necessary for the following reasons:

A potential client wants to know the cost of an upcoming move.
To show a breakdown of the mover’s different pricing for various services.
There are additional charges to move the client’s items and property.
The estimate is for a larger project that the parties are negotiating.
The mover wants to offer a non-binding bid on the client’s project.
