Work Order Flow

A standard IT work order flow is carried out as follows:

  • IT Task Discovered – An IT issue is discovered or regular maintenance is scheduled.
  • Request Submitted – Client/department submits a request to remedy issue.
  • Internal Evaluation – IT department/company evaluates staff, materials, time, urgency.
  • Work Order Creation – Work order appoints technician with details and instructions.
  • Completion of Task – Technician completes task at service location.
  • Completion of Work Order – Final work description and completion date added to order.
