Services Provided
- Evaluations – Assessing the pain level, range of motion, and other factors of the patient’s condition and following up with a re-evaluation to gauge the effectiveness of treatment and make any necessary plan adjustments.
- Exercise – Conducting stretching or exercise sessions to improve the patient’s range of motion, flexibility, and strength, including light endurance training.
- Activities Training – Improving the patient’s ability to handle activities they must engage in frequently, such as walking, bending, lifting, or reaching.
- Gait Training – Teaching a patient to stand and walk with appropriate posture, especially when canes and other assistive devices are required.
- Manual Therapy – Engaging a hands-on technique (e.g., joint mobilization) to manipulate the patient’s body to improve blood flow, flexibility, and alleviate other pain or health issues.
- Neuromuscular Reeducation – Overseeing exercises that aid the patient’s coordination, posture, balance, and muscle control.
- Home Instruction – Developing independent and personalized exercise and therapy routines so that patients can continue working on progress outside the clinic.
- Assistive Technology Training – Teaching patients to wear and utilize mobility devices, prosthetics, or braces.
